SB Connect Winter 2016

We can see yoooouu!

Director of Education and Lifelong Learning, Glenn Rodger, welcomed the donation as it will complete the supply of vests schools already have from the Council’s Safer Routes to Schools team to ensure they have enough for all pupils going on visits outside school premises.

Eildon chair Heather Cuckow said: “We welcome the opportunity to support local communities and recognise that by supplying the extra 1300 high-visibility jackets needed for our primary school children in the Borders, we can improve children’s’ safety.”

Schools submitted the numbers and size of bibs they required to ensure they had enough for all pupils.

All of the schools who requested bibs received them before the October break.
